Remove Shortcut Virus from Pen-drive or Hard Disk.

Every one of you is having trouble with viruses which creates a shortcut in your pen-drive or hard disk and bothers you a lot. These kind of viruses may collect your personal data or harm your computer and format the data on your computer. You might think you will format the pendrive to remove the virus, but you might end up loosing the data. Imagine a 1TB hard disk which is filled with data and loosing the data. !!! That would hurt a lot. There is a way to remove the virus and get back your data.

Step 1: connect your pen-drive or hard disk which is infected and DO NOT OPEN THEM.

Step 2: Open CMD and run it as administrator.

Step 3: Type the following command

drive-letter:
attrib -s -h -r /s /d drive-letter:\*.*

Replace drive letter with your pen-drive's drive-letter, For example if G is the drive letter then

G:
attrib -s -h -r /s /d G:\*.*

and press enter

wait for a minute or two until it is executed.

Now go to Computer and open your pen-drive.
You'll be able to see all the original files and the viruses too. Delete the viruses. (Folder shortcuts,autorun,desktop,etc)
